Return and Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with every purchase from Satwa Bike Shop. If something is not right, this policy explains how to return or exchange it and how refunds work.
1. Contact us first
If you want to return or exchange an item, please contact us as soon as possible after you receive your order, and before sending anything back. We will check your request and tell you whether the item can be returned and what to do next.
2. Items we accept for return
An item can be returned if:
- it is unused, not ridden, and in the same condition as you received it;
- it is in its original box with all parts, accessories, manuals, chargers and tags;
- you have the order number or invoice.
3. Items we cannot accept
For hygiene and safety reasons, and because some items are made or set up for you, we cannot accept returns of:
- bicycles or e-bikes that have been ridden, unless they are faulty;
- helmets, gloves, clothing, saddles and grips that have been worn or used;
- tyres and tubes that have been fitted;
- e-bike batteries that have been charged or used, unless they are faulty;
- items damaged by misuse, accidents, or changes you made;
- bikes or parts that were custom-built, cut to size, or specially ordered for you;
- items bought on clearance or marked "final sale";
- gift cards and service or repair charges.
Nothing in this list affects your rights if an item is faulty or not as described.
4. Wrong, damaged or faulty items
If you received the wrong item, or it arrived damaged or faulty:
- please tell us as soon as possible, ideally on the day of delivery;
- send photos or a short video of the problem and the box by WhatsApp or email;
- do not use the item further.
We will collect it or ask you to bring it to the shop. We will then repair, replace or refund it, at no cost to you. You do not pay any return delivery charges in these cases.
5. Change of mind
If you simply changed your mind, contact us soon after delivery. If the item meets the conditions in section 2, we can offer an exchange, store credit or refund. You can bring the item to our shop in Al Karama, or we can arrange collection. A collection charge may apply for change-of-mind returns, and the original delivery charge is not refunded. We will tell you any charge before you send the item.
6. How to request a return
- Contact us by WhatsApp or phone (+971 50 617 3403 / +971 55 557 9854) or email Info@satwabikeshop.com.
- Give your order number, the item, and the reason for the return. Add photos if the item is damaged or faulty.
- We will reply with the next steps.
- Bring the item to the shop or hand it to our courier, packed safely in its original box.
- We inspect the item and tell you the result.
7. Refunds
Once your return is approved:
- Cash on Delivery orders: we refund by bank transfer, cash at our shop, or store credit, as agreed with you.
- Card payments (if offered in future): we refund to the same card. Your bank may take some time to show it.
- We process approved refunds as quickly as possible.
- The refund covers the price you paid for the item. Delivery charges are refunded only if the item was wrong, damaged or faulty.
- If you used a coupon, the refund is the amount you actually paid.
- If an item comes back incomplete, used or damaged, we may refuse the return or reduce the refund. We will explain why.
8. Exchanges
You can exchange an item for another size, colour or product, subject to availability. If the new item costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, we refund the difference or give store credit.
9. Cancelling an order
- You can cancel free of charge before your order is dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible.
- If the order is already on its way, please contact us. A delivery charge may apply.
- Special orders and custom builds can only be cancelled before we place the order with our supplier.
10. Your legal rights
This policy does not affect your rights under the UAE Consumer Protection Law (Federal Law No. 15 of 2020). If a product is faulty or not as described, you have the right to repair, replacement or refund under that law.
